EDITOR IN CHIEF

Chiara Zussino is in her fourth year of undergraduate studies at the Thunder Bay campus and is currently pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. When she isn’t up to her eyeballs in readings and spreadsheets, you can find her learning a new language, on a spin bike or corporate event planning at the Chanterelle. She has been with The Argus for 3 years and is honoured to take on the role of EIC. Chiara is looking forward to her next move across the pond in April :) for her post graduate adventure!

ORILLIA BUREAU CHIEF

Kezia is in her second year of Teacher's College to obtain her BEd (I/S). Prior to this, Kezia spent five years at the Argus while obtaining her HBASc at Lakehead. With her teachables of English and General Social Sciences, she is eager to get people reading about things that matter to students.

SENIOR COPY EDITOR

Armaan Basheer is jumping into his second year of undergraduate studies at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay. He is intent on completing his HBA English (Honours Bachelor of Arts – English program). After a brief stint as Editor-In-Chief of his Highschool magazine, Armaan is now looking to gain some valuable experience working for The Argus as their Senior Copy Editor.

THUNDER BAY STAFF WRITER

Chelsea Warren is pursuing her undergraduate studies in Physics. She loves to read in her leisure and is especially fond of the classics. She is a strong advocate in encouraging STEM students to appreciate literature as well. This is her second year at The Argus.

ORILLIA STAFF WRITER

Nadia is currently in her second year of teacher's college (P/J). In her spare time she likes to be outdoors, eating new foods and cuddling with her cat watching Netflix! This is her second year working with The Argus and she hopes to enlighten the students of Lakehead with engaging and up to date news.

MULTIMEDIA EDITOR

Winnie Nguyen is an MBA student. She enjoys dealing with creative and communication workflows. In her spare time, she spends hours scanning social media channels to stay up to date on industry trends and find inspiration to help innovate different areas of digital performances. This is her first year working with The Argus!

THUNDER BAY STAFF WRITER

Jack Barten was born in Thunder Bay and has lived here his whole life. He graduated from Confederation College’s Digital Media Production program in 2022. From there, he got a job photographing and writing for The Walleye magazine, writing about events and happenings in Thunder Bay. In 2023, Jack enrolled in Lakehead’s Tech Education program where he is working to become a secondary school teacher. Through being a student at Lakehead he decided to further his writing skills by applying at the Argus. Fun fact! He prefers complex torture to writing a bio and has a wicked sense of humour
