Five Not-So-Alive

Growing pains

The Women’s volleyball team was deserving of a better result this weekend as they battled hard in both their match-ups, but they were unable to walk away with any wins. Lakehead’s squad is still relatively young, and has been showing signs of improvement. They never gave up on the ball this weekend, often sacrificing the body by diving to the hard court to make a play.

Rough weekend for women’s volleyball

The Wolves dropped both games against York this weekend, losing 3-2 on Friday night and 1-3 Saturday night. They also play Sunday against the Brock Badgers. I predict the Wolves walk away with a win on that one.
