Lakehead men and women seventh at OUA Cross Country Championships
The Lakehead cross country teams headed to Ottawa last weekend for the 2011 OUA Championships. Hopes were high heading in, but stiff competition made breaking into the top five difficult. Nonetheless, both the women and the men held their own against larger schools. The women’s team placed seventh in a 16-team field while the men placed seventh in a field of 15.

‘Wolves Track and Cross Country recap
The Lakehead University cross-country teams capped their season this weekend in Guelph at the OUA cross country championships. Despite facing tough competition from the best schools in Ontario, the ‘Wolves held their own, placing sixth and ninth respectively out of 16 teams on the men’s and women’s sides.
