Orillia Bureau Chief
The Orillia Bureau Chief is responsible for coordinating and putting together the content of the Orillia section of The Argus. We’re looking for Orillia students who have:
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- A passion for local and university issues and events
- The ability to lead and coordinate a small team of contributors
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with solid deadlines
- A passion for writing and/or journalism
In exchange, we offer a generous honourarium per issue, access to an unparalleled experience and a great resume item, and the participation in a half century-old tradition at Lakehead University.
Argus Member
We’re looking for students who are interested in:
- Writing articles
- Taking photos, drawing comics or illustrations
- Layout and newspaper design
